The motor is 5 5/8 in diameter (Frame 48Y). The shaft extends 3.5″ out of the motor and is 1/2 ” in diameter. If the shaft is facing up (as seen in the picture), the rotation is clockwise. It is designed as a direct replacment for the old part #s listed below. The valve is currently set up for NAT gas but comes with an LP kit in case you need to convert it to LP gas. It is a slow opening gas valve with a 1/2″ inlet and a 3/4″ outlet also includes a 3/4″ x 1/2″ reducer to reduce the outlet. The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion.
