Carrier Bryant Furnace

Furnace Control Circuit Board. OEM in certain models of Carrier, Bryant, and possibly Payne furnaces. Model and Part Numbers. Please check part numbers to confirm the model and part numbers are exactly the same as the control board you’re replacing. If you’re not sure this is the correct part, or if you’re not sure you need a control board, please don’t guess! If you write before purchasing, I will be glad to confirm whether this is a match to the control board you want to replace, and / or if it’s likely this is what you need to fix your furnace. Checked in and removed from a working furnace. By an HVAC professional. Checking includes observing the furnace starting, running, and shutting down properly.. this is the most reliable way to confirm a control board like this works properly. Inspected after removal to make sure there was no damage from overheating or moisture, and no loose or broken components or bad solder joints. I have included several detailed photos showing the control board and its components. This control board uses a plug-in card with a “Personality Chip” with software on it that specific to the configuration of your furnace. There are several different plug in cards, each one has a different part number (beginning with HK7OE7 followed by 3 numbers). You must have the correct plug-in card or this control board will not communicate properly with your blower motor. When you replace your control board with this one, you will either need to reuse the plug-in chip or Personality Card on your control board – or let me know the part number on yours and I will check to see if I have that available. The personality card is the small beige plug-in in the corner of the control board next to the SW1 switches. I do have several of these available so if for some reason you don’t want to reuse yours, please contact me BEFORE purchasing and if I have the correct personality card I will include it at no cost. WHY IS MY GUARANTEE DIFFERENT FOR HVAC PROFESSIONALS VERSUS OTHERS? Manufacturers and suppliers of HVAC equipment and parts recommend installation and servicing only by licensed HVAC professionals. Many if not most suppliers of HVAC equipment and parts will only sell to licensed HVAC contractors. Licensed HVAC Professionals typically must successfully complete a significant amount of training and hands on experience as an apprentice, and pass tests to prove their competence. While professionals can also make mistakes, it is MUCH more likely someone trying to fix their own equipment will have an issue. While it is possible for someone who is not an HVAC Professional to fix their own equipment- it is significantly more likely they will have issues than would an HVAC professional. Electronic components like this circuit board can be easily damaged by mishandling, or improper installation. I can’t look at this control board and see if it works properly. The only way to check it reliably is in the furnace it was made for and that furnace must be working properly. I do my best to ensure this. As many detailed photos.. Or as much information as I do.
