OEM Carrier Bryant Payne Furnace 2 Stage Exhaust Venter Inducer Motor 326058-755. This is a Brand New OEM Upgraded Carrier/Bryant/Payne Fasco 2 Stage Furance Draft Inducer Motor Assembly. The motor is 115 volt, 3200 RPM. An inducer motor is designed to expel the exhaust gas from the furnace. Older inefficient furnaces allowed the flue gas to escape the unit with virtually no resistance. Newer high efficient furnace heat exchangers are so restrictive that the flue gases cannot exit the furnace though “natural draft”. Therefore, the inducer is required to pull the flue gases through the heat exchanger. The inducer motor is usually the first thing that starts up when your furnace calls for heat. Inducer assembly (Draft inducer) for Carrier Bryant brand furnaces. This assembly is a venter motor. Includes the steel casing and blades. If you look at your existing inducer, it has a clear plastic housing that fits over the top of the inductor to keep fingers and objects from getting into the blower or motor. Our product does not come with this plastic housing. The Inducer Assembly is responsible for pulling indoor air across the heat exchanger (core) in your gas furnace. The Inducer Motor contains a brush assembly that connects to a gear shaft, which in turn rotates an impeller blade. The rotation of the impeller blade “induces”, or draws, air from the furnace and exhausts it through your home’s duct system. The Carrier 326628-762 is an inducer assembly for many Bryant furnace models. It consists of a 1-speed inducer blower motor, electric (3 wires), 597 CFM, 10.5 amps, 4650 RPM, IPT 28. The Carrier 326628-762 is used when the burners on your furnace are not moving heat into your home.
